The Z arm is upside down. The cylinder bearings should be under the arm/not on top of it. You will need to take the lead screw off and remove the Z arm, rotate it 180 deg, so that the bearing cylinder slips onto the stainless steel rods first.

The build plate does not look too scuffed. We used to use 120 grit sandpaper, but now use 80 grit to scuff up the build plate. Make sure you wipe the aluminium dust/filings afterwards with a wet cloth/paper a few times till you don't see any black coming off. Also you should try the gel that Junctio...

Mark, he is using a Vivitek 1186, Here in Australia we need to drop the exposure setting down really low with that projector, some customers are running between 1.2-1.9 sec for all.

Increased the number of initial layers - now at 80. Hi Nikhil. The number of initial layers is WAY to high..you only need 3-5 at most.
