Re: Intel Graphics
Currently running a HP with Intel 530 on one printer which is setup at 25Z and getting very nice prints (I've posted a few pics in the forum elsewhere). I've got a Dell laptop with Intel 620 graphics in the order cart right now for the other printer. It'll be setup for 42Z. Debating between it and a...

Re: New Aluminum Resin Tank
Hi Ken, How'd you like the new tank after using it? I got a 2nd one and another fixed base a while back, but haven't installed them yet on Thing 1? Been working on designs in software and havent had time to update Thing 1. Just using a Thing 2 at the moment. Was a bit surprised that the 2nd fixed ba...

Re: New Aluminum Resin Tank
Here's a pic of the aluminum tank I got a while back. You can see they added a pour "spout" (much appreciated!, and if it ain't a pour spout, well that's what it gets used for around here) and milled fill marks. The pour spout is visible on the left corner of the tank. One of the fill mark...

Re: 1st try w scale adjustment
Haven't made any more tries with the scale adjustment. Have printed several test strips of holes for sizing etc, so probably will wait a while now before I try again. Even with where the settings are now, we're getting pretty decent results. Here's two test pieces, part of a propeller. They were don...

1st try w scale adjustment

Z measured on both cubes in mid, not outside edges. Other faces measured at top, mid and bottom. Found anomaly on &q...

Re: Thing 2 upgrade - Fixed Mount Plate
Thanks. Liking it a lot. Not hard to change projector locations even for one person. No complaints at all. Previously it felt like I would very often tilt or move the printer when lid was opened. Printer would tilt back just enough to break the magnets lose and the pins come down misaligned and not ...

Re: Thing 2 upgrade - Fixed Mount Plate
Installed pics. See separate new thread for al tank views...couple of features not on website photo. Note UPS on lower shelf, being in Texas we have a few thunderstorms and momentary electric outages in the summer.

Thing 2 upgrade - Fixed Mount Plate
The Big White Toy Truck just left and looky at what he left behind :-) Will get it installed on Thing 2 this afternoon. Took pics of the bottom in case folks were curious as to what the pre-installed feet look like. Curious as the instructions say to have the feet on the projector all the way up. Cu...

Re: Hhelp w cleanup - resin in through top of machine
Yep, pretty sure that's what happened. You may have seen it as part of the other discussion we were having via email. Was all part of CW running out of memory and freezing the pc and when rebooting me either not turning the projector off nor putting the shutter in place. So if anyone needs to reboot...
