Re: ResinWorks EasyCastHD castable resin
So far I like how well this resin prints and casts. This one takes a while to print- 7+ hrs@30Z but it's fun to look at.

Re: Contour Error

Re: Contour Error
It's ongoing. 1. Failure notice pop-up when homing button is pushed. I repeat homing and homing works fine. 2. Failure notice when start print button is pushed. I repeat start print, slice, and printing works fine. 3. RS232 cable has been replaced and securely connected. 4. IN8606 projector is corre...

Contour Error
I'm constantly getting this when it goes to slicing. After I get the error notice, I take it back to print wizard, re slice it and it's fine. Any suggestions?

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Lol. Yes, that's a lot. Considering we recommend replacing the bulb at 1500 hours. Ah, lol. We have the InFocus8606 and it looks like the replacement lamp is out of stock on InFocus' website. I see some other places online, but was wondering if there is one site in particular that you recommend? ht...

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Lol. Yes, that's a lot. Considering we recommend replacing the bulb at 1500 hours. I'm getting the exact same results-supports barely touching if at all and choppy surface even after supports increased to .6 and .8, exposure bumped up 1.0s. Lamp hrs are 1174 so I'm replacing it as it points towards...

Re: SolusCast: Cracks in heavy model
Well. You can use 50% solucast /Emerald as well . I have noticed the prints come nice with minimal support. whereas, with the Emerald, you need to add a bunch of them. that is a real issue and time-consuming process cleaning all the support. Never liked the Emerald, really. I tested your 50/50 Solu...

From Ashes to New
This is one of the most gratifying and challenging pieces I've ever made as a cad designer. On the left is what's left of a hand made heirloom brooch that a good friend of mine owned. They're slowly getting back on their feet but her family lost everything in a massive and terrifying fire that swept...
