Nah, ever since I switched over I have found the EasyCast Brown resin to be easier to cast with than the B9 Emerald. I believe it is due to how quickly it cures with glycerin and UV and no boiling/microwaving.

Do you have Creation Workshop installed? Whenever I have had this happen I close out of Contour, open Creation Workshop, connect to the printer, select the control tab, and click the arrow to move the Z axis up.

How old is your projector bulb? Also, look for smudges on your projector lens and the window on the solus that the light shines through. I try to clean these every week or so just to make sure there is nothing to mess with the light projection.

The SolusWax seems to be easier to burnout than the SolusCast, although I had an odd shrinkage issue with the SolusWax (Could have been an old formula and/or my projector lamp was old) I would suggest the "if it ain't broke, dont fix it" method. Buy a bottle of what you know works (B9 Emer...

It's too large to print on its back, but yes it is hollow in the back

Does it need to be a NURBS surface .3dm or can it be a sculpted mesh surface that is packaged as a .3dm?
