Re: ResinWorks EasyCastHD castable resin

Easycast is a good resin. Almost identical to Emerald. Maybe, maybe slightly sharper. Maybe because of the slightly less exposure time which makes it also a bit faster which is a plus.
I would switch just to support the Solus team.

Re: ResinWorks EasyCastHD castable resin

I got a trial bottle a few weeks ago from Canada. I can say now it is the resin we were all waiting for. just the perfect Resin from a finely detailed print to the heaviest piece you can print. In simpler words, It is a zillion time better than the Emerald. you won't be disappointed . Marc How abou...

Re: SolusProto and Mould Inhibition

I use Castaldo LiquaCast®Long-Life and i get the smoothest waxes. SolusProto is the best for that, such quality smooth prints. Just tap your prints with talc powder after you have UV cured it (i do around an hour). Just put baby powder or talc powder used in jewelry inside a handkerchief and tap you...

Re: 4K

110mm x 62mm build area at 28 microns XY is an amazing thing. If they figure out a way to get a perfect film tension every time even for beginners to produce Emil like prints, that would be a jackpot. Also one suggestion, it would be great if they make the new printer dustproof. I keep my Solus in a...

Re: Is there a new Solus coming?

Very exciting!

When will it be available for sale?

Would there be any kind of deal to trade in our old Solus for the new one and pay the difference?

Re: Solus Wax Cure No Cure

Hey jewelermdt, thanks for posting your results with pics. The big ring white gold is indeed a very bad casting. What i am having difficulty to understand is why the 18k white gold is the one creating problems more often. For me also the 18k yellow gold always comes out perfect but 18k white gold al...
