Thanks Mark and Emil for the quick response.
I've reinstalled 1.4 and it's working great.
Cheers
Gary.

Re: Error message in contour, can't print
Thanks Monger, I’ve emailed you the file. I realise they’re Beta versions, I don’t mind the occasional glitch and for me there have been very few. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious, but how do I roll back that update?! I can’t seem to uninstall it, roll back, or find a link to that build number...

Error message in contour, can't print
I've updated Contour to 1.4.5 this morning and I keep getting this error message during or just after the final slicing process, before the print starts. I’ve restarted, checked everything I can think of (cables, Windows updates, graphics card) anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks
Gary
Thanks
Gary

Re: Need help BAD
I’m not an expert, but I can share some of my experiences. As soon as I get lines in my prints looking anything like that I’ll check and maybe change the film, and re-check that I’m not tightening the vat too much. Obviously, Monger has already said this, but its easy to overlook when you’ve got rep...

Hey that looks fantastic!
I can’t wait to try it out! The reverse slice direction view is a work of genius, and the history function looks great too.
Nice work.

Re: What's wrong with these pictures?
Hi Lawrence, Are you using Morris & Watson? I’ve had a couple of fairly successful Emerald casts from them, mostly in Stg silver though. A palladium one initially looked great, but was pumice-like through its core, a bit like the top section of larger one of your casts. They did a fairly large (...

Re: Build arm stuck at the base of the z-axis screw
Well, it looks like I’ve got a damaged Z-axis sensor, but the new parts are on their way so all is good! Thanks for your comment Ken, the firmware was the first thing Mark looked at. I’ve got to say that once again I’m very impressed with Mark’s service. Even with a Cat 5 Typhoon heading his way on ...

Build arm stuck at the base of the z-axis screw
Hi all, During the homing cycle the build arm is going to the base of the z axis screw and staying there. Not only that, but it sounds like the z-axis motor is still trying to move it. I’ve turned the power off, and manually moved the arm up the z axis, and re-started everything, but it keeps doing ...

Re: 42xy lens question
I've just checked my 42xy lenses and they're set up the same way: projector,: +1: +4: solus.
I only print at 42xy about once a month, but it works.
Sorry if im stating the obvious, but are the lenses well-seated into the holder, and is the holder fitted correctly to the projector?
