Re: CW Crashed Mid Print! Help
Just my 5 cents worth, but how much RAM does the computer you’re using with CW have? My laptop for CW had the stated minimum 4GB, and it was ok, but very slow in 3DView. It would sometimes crash as soon as I started orientating two models on the ground plane to print at once. I’ve just doubled it to...

Re: The glue on the outside edge of the Vat issue
I had the same thing happen to one of my vats not long after i got my printer. As per Mark's suggestion i left a bead of resin around the outside edge of the vat walls and left it in the sun for a while. I moved it around to expose all sides evenly. It worked, and the vat is still absolutely fine af...

Re: Printing large, solid shapes
Thanks, I hadn't thought about hollowing them out! I'll give this a try.
With the Spot-HT I'm using a new vat so i might not have got the film tension exactly right.

Ha, that's great! Thanks!
Re: Netffab
Hi, I’ve got netfab basic 6.4, and this looks like the place to change that setting. If you were just downloading NetFabb to fix models, here’s a link to the cloud version that is going to be more useful. You can’t export your repaired model from the free version. I hardly use it since Mark put me o...

Printing large, solid shapes
Hi, I’ve got about 8x fairly large, solid prints to do for a client, and a growing pile of mis-prints! Has anyone got any tips on how best to orientate and support models this size, and what resin might be best? Should I cut them up into smaller sections? The models are all roughly L-shaped, and aro...

[SOLVED] 42xy profiles missing from CW?
I'm trying to set up for my first 42xy, 30z print. I'm working through the guide that Emil posted, but cant seem to find any of the profiles for 42 xy in my version of CW. What am i missing here? I've checked the dropbox folders that I downloaded CW from, and cant see anything. Screenshot 2016-02-05...

Re: Print sticking to film
Hi Mark, No, the spring appeared to be well secured to the hole at the base, it was at the other end, where it appears to fit over the angled arm, that seems to attach to the tilt mechanism. There did not appear to be any hole to secure it onto the arm, it looked like it just sat over the arm itself...
