Re: I having slight success in casting, but not perfect
@jewelermdt - I have both systems. Vacuum and centrifugal....I have been using the latter for resin and I have only vacuum casted with wax and solidscape. My question is....do you have perfect casts most of the time, by perfect I mean like smooth surface quality so as not to have to fill voids and h...

Re: Auto projector shut down
I have been trying to find this driver.....I cannot for the life of me find it or figure this out. (I am a jewelry designer not a techno guru.....I have solved computer issues with a hammer folks.) sigh......I figured it was plug and play......apparently not. Re: ***It is all about the cure!!!***
Hey Bob! Are you still doing the microwave thing? I got the melody Susie you recommended and it cures those bad boys like nobody's business! I actually saw something very interesting today. Someone used Rain x on their film to help with failed prints. Eyebrows raised! We shall see said the blind man...

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
Well folks! I discovered that my casting techinic is not the issue, nor the investment......it was all about the cure! I got the melody susie and cured each side for 10 minutes of 60 second stop and go. Afterwards, I found that my models were rock hard. I microwaved them and invested them as per Mar...

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
@rkundla - This is awesome! I appreciate you sharing this! I noticed that in addition to drying the investment......the dropping of top out temp is at 540 degrees per hour to casting temp. I've been dropping the temp at full. Is this a critical error? I mean, I turn the oven on at night and cast in ...
