Re: Removing failed prints v2.0
There was a guy who had a Facebook video that showed this milled aluminum tool that looked like a handle. If you have a stuck print, you pour some new resin next to the stuck part, put the handle on the uncured resin and then expose it to UV light. When cured, you pull up on the handle and the stuck...

Re: Any idea why these keep failing?
Could it be related to static charge that has accumulated either on the film or the quartz during the cleaning process?

With the way that light engine moves, they have to really get their accuracy down or else you'd have pixel shifts across each band. Very impressive if they can do it. A interview video from Rapid 2015 on Youtube mentioned they are only targeting the manufacturing space, so nothing at 'entry level' o...

Do you soak and swirl or do you use an ultrasonic? I'd think the ultrasonic would help get the uncured resin out from all that detail.
That ring looks fantastic. Nice to see that you can print it without the dissolvable support wax. Did you UV cure that as well?

Re: perhaps burnout is not the best method?
As Archerm said, electroforming would be a perfect solution for you. Here is an article on it for art purposes: http://www.copper.org/consumers/arts/2007/november/ You paint a conductive coating on the object and then you plate it just like a piece of jewelry in a chemical bath. Easy peasy so they s...

Have you had experience with pouring acetone into a investment flask and get a clean casting? This is news to me, but seems possible. I have some acetone in the workshop and some spare models. Time for an experiment. Regarding non-standard resins, the Bucktown Polymers people tried to do something w...

Re: question about casting, not solus related.
Depends on how big of a flask you intend to cast, but I use an electric Paragon SC3 kiln for my small (3.5" tall and shorter) casting. It has a pretty good controller to program different multi-stage burn out cycles. I keep mine on an AV cart because you don't really want it sitting on a deskto...

Were all the supports for that spoon done with Creation Workshop, or another tool?
Great detail! What are the other dimensions of the spoon?
