Re: Solus Wax Resin
With the SolusWax it says we need to pre-heat it to 104F before printing? do you just take 40ml and put it on a hotplate before pouring in the vat? What happens if you try printing at room temperature?

Re: Ben's Prints
Trying out the "Turbo" Mode with the emerald and have had a 100% success rate on the prints. Here's a skull pendant that was printed. First half of the print has a different texture than the last half but both are pretty smooth.

Re: Windows update Trashed my Contour software
For our dedicated laptop we shut off wifi and dont have it on a network. If it is not connected to the internet, then windows cant come in and wreck things without us knowing. The only time that laptop connects to the internet is for Contour updates, after that I unplug the ethernet.

Re: Problem with sucessfull casting
Idk about that proto resin, but for the B9 emerald a formula that has been giving us great results is: 1- Cure UV 405nm 2 hours 2- Microwave cure resin in water for 3 minutes. Let water cool for 15-20 minutes. Do this 3 times total. 3- Invest. We have been using Plasticast but just recently switched...

Re: Shifting layers at top of finger rail
I checked the quartz and it didn't slide around. I replaced the film and made sure there were no air pockets and it lays perfectly flat. These are better and I definitely usable, but it is still not %100. The layer shift still seems to be there. :| attached are images showing supported and un-suppor...

Re: Shifting layers at top of finger rail
If this happens regularly with prints, I suggest that you check that your quartz is still secure. If you can slide it then that is probably the issue. I have had several customers who had the double-sided tape (which secures the quartz to the acrylic frame) loose adhesion over a few years due to bo...

Re: Shifting layers at top of finger rail
Yes. Those spots. Do you get these lines on most of your prints, or only these particular models? If you get them on all of them, then we recommend sending the machine in for diagnostics, maintenance and repair if needed. Please email info@junction3d.com for details. Yes, lately these lines have be...

Re: Shifting layers at top of finger rail
I recommend applying some grease to the lead screw around the backlash nut. Above it and below, to see if that helps. Also, you can print a cylinder the same height as the ring to see if you get the lines in the same exact levels. I have been re-apply a little grease every other print to the Z scre...
