Re: Failed prints: a number of layers FULLY cured
Ok so everything was set up properly then. I think 9 out of 10 print failures that I get comes down to inconsistencies with the resin itself. If I don't empty out the vat and thoroughly mix it EVERY time I'll get bad results. Any good alternatives to the solus proto? I've used less expensive resins...

Re: Failed prints: a number of layers FULLY cured
Is it the projector or the PC's graphics that need to have full RGB turned on? Just the computer as far as I know. I had two factors that were causing my issues. The first one was that the Windows update turned Full RGB off and the second was that I had not strained my resin in a while. Not sure if...
Re: New Solus
The goal is to make it reliable enough not to need major service like that, but it is easy enough to service the machine in my opinion. Monger if it is anything like my original Solus then I am sure it will be reliable. I am into my 3rd year with the Solus and it has not missed a beat other than Wi...
Re: New Solus
I think an all in one unit caters to what most people want. I personally however love the component feature of my current Solus. My all in one Asiga looked pretty but it was such a pain if you had issues and the whole unit had to go back. Is this all in one unit user service friendly Monger? Will th...

Re: Failed prints: a number of layers FULLY cured
Check you FULL RGb settings. Have the same issue now with Full RGB and have not changed my settings in over a year too. I usually do not upgrade the computer my printer is connected to but it got connected to the internet by accident (my mistake) and Windows 10 updated and changed my settings. Gett...

Re: how many people use the B9 resins on the solus ?
The new EasyCastHDo2 Green is even better for casting. I suggest getting a sample bottle and trying it. http://www.junction3d.com/buy/ccw-easycast-hd-m3tfy Might have to try something different soon. Still casting B9 Cherry but no one stocks it in Oz anymore. Could never see much of a difference be...

Re: Make sure machine is LEVEL.
FWIW My machine is way off level and has been since I owned it and for most of the 10L or so of resin that have been through it. Haven't had any problems. Mine is not that far off level.....but it has never been level for the nearly two years now I have used it and I have not had any issues. For th...

Re: Back using my solus after more than a year
Is 45 min to an hour better than what you can get with alternative solutions in the same price range? AFAIK time of build depends on the build height, resin and resolution and probably other things I have missed. My first printer was an Asiga Pico. It cost a little under double what the Solus cost ...

Happy New Year to the Reify team
I made the switch from the Asiga to the Solus about a year and a half ago. The machine, software and service are so far superior.....and it is cheaper! Maybe it is because I have been printing for a long time now but I have had no issues with the Solus. It just works and the prints are faster and th...

Re: Things just wont line up
I just set up the machine for the 42 XY configuration using the new fixed baseplate however I cannot seem to align the grid up. The projected grid seems to fall off the right hand side no matter what I do to align things. Mine does that too. The part of the arm that clips the printer into the proje...
