Just thought I would share a casting I did this morning. B9 green resin, cast with 38 grams of old nasty customers 10 and 14kt gold.
Sweet results casting was perfect, Optima is giving me the best results I have had casting resin.

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
So far I love the optima investment. I am getting the best casting I have ever gotten casting resin, reminds me of casting injection waxes. I followed all the instructions that optima suggest except I don't preheat the oven and only cure before burnout around 1.5 hours. I am going to experiment with...

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
Casting engraved letter like those has been a night mare for me. I use B9 Green and use plasticast and still have issues. What is happening when your metal slams into the mold, it is braking off the little letter sticking down. The deeper the letter the worse the problem. I have even gone as far as ...

Clipping Supports on Prints
I have had some problems with breaking off supports and having fine detail or prongs come off with the support. I have tried side cutter but they were to big to get inside a ring.
I looked at some fine long nose pliers on my bench and took a separating disk and ground a fine cutter into it. FWIW

Wavy Surface
Looking for suggestions on printing some thing flat. I just printed this ring and the top is too wavy to use. I am angling the ring and reprinting, was just curious what the cause is? Film too loose?
Using the new support builder what a time saver very impressed.

Support Video
I know this is a video from another printer company hope it is okay to post. I stumbled across it and tried this method and it has really helped me in adding supports. I know CW shows the slices, but I can't add supports there. This method seems to be working pretty good for me. Hope it helps someon...

Wow the new software is such a big improvement over CW! Makes my job so much easier. That being said I have had issues with a really big file I am printing, it has become unresponsive, a restart gets it back up and going. Really glad I don't have to use CW for this job. I was curious if anyone else ...
