solus-error.jpg Getting this error again. Not sure what's causing this but I'm making sure not to press ok this time in case its what cracked my quartz last time. success
Thank you Monger. There were a couple more failures before I ran out of the SolusCast sample but I had a good feeling about how everything was going so I went ahead with a job using the SolusProto...WeW, Great stuff! 2nd print's supports came off at the start but the thing kept printing like nothing...

Re: Sample files for print?
I'm not able to make sense of it. I've sent the updated file. If you can take a quick look at it and see if I'm missing something.
Contour isn't allowing me to add supports to the vertical walls(horizontal stability?) in case that's the problem.

Re: Sample files for print?
Thank you, I'll try those settings out.
I'm confused on this pressure point. The bottom(side facing build plate) is open on all sides. You're saying a hole at the top(last part to print) would help the print?

Re: Sample files for print?
Ok, got a full print out. It's looking good except for some strange layer shifting. With the face facing the left/right of the machine, the layers are shifting to the front/back of the machine. I don't know why it didn't show up in the ring. On previous prints with Cherry, it has shown up as a bunch...

Re: Sample files for print?
Thanks. I did another print of the ring with some new film and it was the best. Then I went and printed this scan.....twice. bicepsTurbo-print1.jpg bicepsTurbo-print2.jpg bicepsTurbo-supports.jpg First time, print failed at ears and gash on chin. I focused on the failure at the ears and added more s...

Re: Sample files for print?
How about for the jagged base layer? Does that look like over compression?

Turbo mode
Hi all. Before using turbo mode, I tried another print with the vat a couple turns tighter than on the first result-print didn't stick to the build plate. After that I tried the turbo mode for the SolusCast and the results look much better. I didn't notice that the last posted result was skewing as ...
