Re: New Resin Development
Any new updates on this? Im getting to the point where I need to order again, would hate to order Solus Proto only for the new resin to come out immediately after.

Re: Contour Feature Requests
Id really like to second the model lift height, having a 2or 3 option would be really helpful. It just saves a lot of time, especially when youre trying to get a lot of prints throughout the day.

Semaphore Timeout, sadness.
So this is my 4th time encountering this error: no.jpg It comes on without warning regardless of the print size or type. The laptop is not in use at the time, its strictly there for the printer. In this case, it was more than halfway through an 8 hour print : / . The build platform freezes where it ...

Re: Getting rid of 'flakes'
Hi Zach, I also have both of those issues as well, though I only get the flakes with the proto resin, I don't have the issue with the b9 Emerald. Which projector are you using? I have the optoma HD37 Graeme Im using the vivitek, however Ive only tried the proto resin thus far. It's important to mix...

Anyone with experience casting resin miniatures?
Now that I have the Solus up and running, the next step is to get a decent home setup for producing resin casts of the prints I make. These need to be of high quality, as I plan on either using them during commissions or selling them. I'd like to use a mold and resin like Smoothon, but after scourin...

Getting rid of 'flakes'
Ive finally gotten some free time to really dive in to the Solus, and printed a zbrush sculpt of mine. One thing thats been consistent on all of my prints so far are these thin slivers on the surface of the model, commonly occuring between gaps but on flat surfaces as well. They are like dry skin, b...

Re: Resin leak?
Okay, Ive ordered my pecpads and from the looks of it nothing went inside. Mirror is clean. Ive tightened that sides screws and Im just going to let it rest on a paper towel for a few hours to see if it continues to leak.

For puddles like that, whats the best way to clean the protus reason so it doesnt leave any slick residue?

Resin leak?
Just had my first really successful print (Finally!) and I did it right after changing my screen for the first time. After the print, this was the scene: Does this mean I have over/under tightened the screws on that side? They seem snug but I didnt go crazy. BTW here is the print that I did. :) Big ...
