Some laptop touch pads allow 2 finger gestures ( - swiping fingers apart zooms in, together zooms out.
I don't find it great, but handy in pinch.

Hmmm... well I did look into that, but it looks like the slicing was going to take longer than the printing!
It's still an option, but it's going to take some planning ahead to implement.

I've done around a dozen prints on the new Solus. I'm happy with them all - not perfect, but there has been some learning going on. However CW has crashed 3x out of the 12. Laptop completely hangs. Only a power down works. The first two times the layer was being exposed so a bit of cleanup. Last tim...

Mark advises that the ability to display "full RGB" (ie 0-255 on all channels) is the critical factor. The following information from Intel should therefore be useful in selecting a machine to drive your Solus. Of course memory capacity, processor speed etc will also need to be considered....
