Re: auto support on mirco prongs heavy ring
I tried it upside down, Mike, but still have a lot of prong pointing downward on the side of the shank.
Jewelermdt wrote:I was going to suggest printing it upside down. Don't think tilting would help. Would have a lot of supports on one side.

You are not suppose to put the Orange plastic there when printing. It is only used to block the light from curing the resin when it is not printing.

Re: install the printer in an other older laptop
You can try install this driver for the serial cable, which connect from the projector to your laptop's USB port:
http://www.driverscape.com/download/usb-serial-ch340
Make sure the serial cable is connected correctly and restart the computer after the driver is installed.

Re: contour software?

I highly recommend it. is this software included with new purchases? if so, is it available free of charg...

Re: vivitek 1186
Just get a Solus. It will save you a ton of headache. You don't have to get the projector with the Solus to get the lenses. The lenses are included with the Solus alone. I'm not a solus user .... I bought one cheap LCD printer but I'm very dissatisfied I want to rebuild it to the topdown DLP printer...

Re: vivitek 1186
You can buy it yourself of course, but you will need to make the adapter to attach it to the projector as well. I will just get it from the Solus dealer to save time and trouble. Not sure why you wanna buy it when it already comes with the printer. Sound like you are not a Solus user. Thank you alre...

To get the right one, I think you should contact INFO@JUNCTION3D.COM if you are in the US or whoever you get the printer from.
