Re: B9 Emerald Green Models
How is the detail compared th the cherry? Is it flexible like the cheery or more brittle? Just curious about the properties. The pieces look great. MARK

Re: Kerstien's Prints
I haven't had a failure yet using my own supports so that makes me very happy. Once you start making your own supports it is very easy and worth the effort. On more complicated pieces I make very tiny supports - bridges and use the model to support the area needing support. It has been very effectiv...

Re: Kerstien's Prints
I have found most Support software pretty iffy for the most part. I posted this a few days ago. I have been building my own supports. Mark Actually the supports are very easy to make. The first thing I do before I think about the supports is to make sure when I am building a piece I keep the way a p...

Re: ***Totally Stoked!!***
Someone asked me about a few things on my print so I thought I would post a few close up pics of the parts in question. One question was about the tiny supports I use on some of the pieces. I call them micro or mini supports. Instead of adding big supports from the zero plane I will support a part o...

Re: ***Totally Stoked!!***
Actually the supports are very easy to make. The first thing I do before I think about the supports is to make sure when I am building a piece I keep the way a printer works in mind. There are alot of little things that can screw up a print whether the supports are right or not. One thing to remembe...

Re: ***Totally Stoked!!***
These were some tests I did on a piece that was giving me issues with different Support software. finally I decided to do my own supports. That print is the far right print. After doing my own supports it came out perfect. I printed it twice and both times no issues. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums...

Re: Mis prints
Its amazing what is always running on a computer. I have tried to remove as much stuff as I can o0n my laptop for the Solus. The more junk I remove the more consistent the prints are. What is worse the newer laptops have all the App crap and it is loaded with blotware. I think I finally have most of...
