Re: Solus Wax Cure No Cure
Hey jewelermdt, thanks for posting your results with pics. The big ring white gold is indeed a very bad casting. What i am having difficulty to understand is why the 18k white gold is the one creating problems more often. For me also the 18k yellow gold always comes out perfect but 18k white gold al...

Re: Solus Wax Resin
We plan on selling sample bottles of the SolusWax and also sample prints (not to be confused with custom prints) so that anyone who wants to try before they buy can do that just that. Here are some test castings that are done not by us, or by large casting houses, but by your fellow Solus users. Mo...

Re: Solus Wax Resin
I'm a great fan and supporter of Solus. I was waiting for almost a year for the SolusCast to come out. All the promotional videos and claims were very promising. After my experience with Solus Proto i was sure that this resin would solve many problems associated with printing and casting given that ...

Re: My (failed) castings w/SolusCast
1. Can it withstand high heat like the Emerald? Very important for me as i make a lot of molds of flat items with standard vulcanizing process (160 celcius). Also i heat cure before casting. IMO Cherry is sturdier than Emerald and more suitable for normal high temp vulcanisation. That is why I pref...

Re: My (failed) castings w/SolusCast
We print all day all the time and cast successfully with the cherry resin. Why don't you guys just give it a try? my two cents. Marc. Hey M, i am thinking of getting a bottle of cherry after seeing that you recommend it a lot because sadly Soluscast is not working for me either. Have yet to try it ...

Re: Prints by Monger
I agree with many users that it would be great if this resin is formulated to withstand high heat for a standard vulcanizing process unlike the SolusProto and Soluscast. No RTV no VLT. With Emerald no problem. At 160 celcius under the vulcanizer, no skin cracks. I mold a lot of flat items and i wish...
