Re: Unknown Print Flash/Film
Thanks for the feedback! I'll be printing some models tomorrow and will go through each of your suggestions. A few notes though, I have metal ball bearings in my resin bottles to mix them properly already, so I don't think that's the problem. Also, I don't think it's the STL file since I've printed ...

Re: Unknown Print Flash/Film
Yeah I'm using the latest software. And before starting a new print I reset the resin profile and the same phenomenon happened (I attached pictures of this print). And the exposure times are: 2.5 second layer and 5 second initial layer.

Unknown Print Flash/Film
Hey everyone, I've been using the solus for a while now and have had incredible successes with it. Recently I've been experiencing a problem with my prints. At the same location and (I believe) height, there is a thin flash/film forming from my prints. Unfortunately I only snapped a picture of one o...

Contour Files Not Saving Exact Scene
Recently when I add manual supports and save the scene in Contour, the support structures aren't saved as I arranged them. Instead, when I open the .solus file, the program loads supports as though I saved it using automatic supports. Not sure why this happens. Is this a bug in the program or someth...

Re: Help Supporting Model
Thanks for the help Monger! The print came out beautifully. I decided to print it as one complete model, but had it not printed well I would've separated the ring and printed it as individual components.

Re: Light Reflection
Thanks for the insight Devlin! I'll probably construct a cardboard blockage for the printer to prevent any light leakage.
And thank you Monger for the peace of mind!

Light Reflection
This is my first time printing at 42xy resolution and noticed that there is light reflecting back onto the printer/window. This didn't happen at 25xy resolution as the projector is much closer to the printer. Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm worried that the reflected light will cu...

Re: Help Supporting Model
I tried attaching the STL file to this post but it came up with an error 'Invalid File Extension'. I'll email you the file instead. Thanks!

Help Supporting Model
I'm hoping someone could take a look at a model I'm supporting and let me know if I'm going about it properly. It seems like I'm overcrowding the model with supports, but perhaps this is necessary given the shapes in the ring. Unfortunately Contour didn't save the exact scene (when I open the .solus...
