I had a similar situation where it looked like your second photo. I was growing a ring with recess lettering ( simple font) . My cause we're insufficient amount of supports even though I used automatic support function in the software. Turned out was best to mill out. Hope my post helps.

It was surprisingly to me how everyone of them were identically printed this way and yet the other slightly larger disc on the same plate did not reform even as they were supported in the same manner.

This is a new one ....printed these with generated supports as well adding a couple more. It built with what looks like a shelf on the disc in the recessed areas and also shows on the edge of them. I just realized after talking with Len that I did leave the ring support that I grew the ring with "on". I should have cut that off and attached a "wax" sprue..... MY BAD !!! Also.....I was hurrying up my models along and attached it all wrong at the sprue base....another BAD. I ...

Too much flux or heat?
I'm thinking both a flux issue and might have over heated the 14ky? Resins cured 46 hrs with two 20w up close up lamps (the ones we are all usingom this forum) boiled and are em green b9. Using the oven burn noted several times on these fours. Three other flask casted normal but this one..... thank ...

I see now where it went wrong....pictures from Emil (Thank You Emil)....he pointed out the "islands". I need to use the slicer more often.

That is strange David. You said this takes up the whole grid printing? If you have room try moving it to the left or right side. I get things like that every now and then. Most time it's a support thing. Also maybe try and putting in a ring support base. Go to manual supports, click ring support th...

I put three rings I grew flawlessly last time on and will check the results when I get there on Tuesday ( we are closed on Monday's)
