Re: Resin recommendation
Thank you Archerm and Robin! I intend to use install the printer in a small home office so the resin fumes are huge factor to me as well. I am more worried about the safety rather than the smell. The fumes of all B9 (except the dental) resins are toxic and dangerous not only for you but for everyon...

Re: Inexpensive UV Curing Chamber
Hi Storin, Exactly what Devlin said, you can tell from the outer surface by how tacky it is. For B9 resins, usually when the outside isn't tacky then it's fully cured. Thicker pieces like men's bands etc. will require more time and judging by the outer surface alone will get you in trouble (for all ...

Re: Resin recommendation
For non-castable resins that have a lot of detail, I'd recommend the SolusProto resin. For castable resins, I've used the B9 Yellow and MakerJuice's WaxCast. Each has it's own pros and cons but I find myself using both depending on the model. For instance, I printed a 20mm "tree of life" p...

Re: project white
Idk what project white is, but I can tell you what I do in case of a failed print. Project White can be used to cure up the entire build area which creates a rectangular layer that will grab all the floaters and cured parts from failed prints. I wouldn't stir the resin after a failed print and woul...

Re: ***Totally Stoked!!***
They work great Emil. I used them as auto supports. Maybe a few to many for my taste on some thongs but all prints come out great using them. I have been using the Ball end supports which I like. You know I am a support minimalist !!! The fewer the better!! But I do like the new support function. I...

Contour v.1.3.6 download link?
Hi Emil/Mark, I'm running v.1.3.3 but it is saying no newer versions are found. I checked/unchecked beta updates, saved and restarted Contour and nada. I still have the .exe for 1.3.0 but its asking me to uninstall the current version. I'm afraid it'll ask for that verification code again so I'll ho...

Re: Help ! Film stick to glass
I agree with the comments above. I had the same issue until I did a thorough cleaning of the film and the glass. A lot of pec-pads were used, washing hands and changing gloves on each pass

Re: Barter / Trade / Sell ?
Hi Todd,
I get a lot of engagement rings that need a curved wedding ring to go with it. Does it do a good job at capturing the shape of e-rings?

Re: Prints not sticking
if it still won't stick after calibrating the build plate, try scuffing the plate against some sandpaper on a flat surface.
