Re: Which Alcohol to use for cleaning resin
If you can get your hands on some moonshine or "stilled" alcohol (ethanol) that works just as good . We use Everclear which is a grain alcohol and have a small still which we use to recycle it. Flawless. These photopolymers are alcohol soluble. Unfortunately it's the best agent for cleaning.

Re: Calibration file for projector?
If you unzip this guy, open the .3DM in Rhino and print it out (make sure to print from the Top view and click on Extents) then the result should be pretty close to 80x45. I use this to calibrate my machine when going back and forth from 25 to 42.

I've been watching that zbrush class as well. Dude's a prodigy. I can barely draw a circle so I only use zbrush for applying alphas and stuff.

Re: B9 Emerald Castable Resin Testing
Has anyone tried slicing this at .020 yet?
I tried .025 with slighter faster exposure times and it worked awesome. Wondering if .020 would yield even better results.

Re: Starting/Finishing/Pausing a print
Hi, I have the OptomaHD37 and having auto shutoff is really a must because I often need to print over night. You probably have this but here is the hex code; Power ON ~XX00 0 7E 30 30 30 30 20 30 0D Power OFF (0/2 for backward compatible) ~XX01 1 7E 30 30 30 31 20 31 0D Thanks! Craig Hi, Can you ma...

Re: Starting/Finishing/Pausing a print
I think according to the instructions to setup everything it needs to run at 19200.
I'll have to see if I can find that PDF again.

Re: Starting/Finishing/Pausing a print
Thanks for the driver! It installs perfectly and shows the USB adapter on com8. I'm still not getting any joy from this hex code though. Everything is lined up: 1. Driver installed 2. Plugged in to USB2 slot, not USB3 just in case. 3. Com port properly set in CW to 19200 baud. 4. Com port speed set ...

Re: Starting/Finishing/Pausing a print
I'm getting a "Projector driver not installed" while trying to send the Turn Off command. Is there some kinda driver required other than the serial-to-usb driver? In the System properties of Control Panel I have a generic looking video component with an exclamation mark and no driver insta...
