Re: Z lift speed
Don't get lift and tilt speeds confused. Z lift if how fast the build plate vertically lifts from the film/tank, but before this it tilts. You can only change the tilt speed by adjusting the profile file in the profiles folder. When I've had issue with builds failing, reducing the tilt speed helps ...

Re: Z lift speed
I never thought about slowing it down for a smoother print, but it does make sense. Take the Soluscast for instance, there is a turbo mode which basically doubles "printUpZ" and "printDownZ" cutting the print time dramatically. It feels like the resin is harder than B9 Green, and...

Re: Casting SolusCast
Just got myself a bottle of the blue goo the other day. Haven't cast anything yet but the prints are really impressive. I'll try and post results when I can

Re: parameter explanation
Exposure buffer time is also known as beforeExposureDelay, basically the platform goes down to the VAT, waits (this is the parameter), displays a layer for a set time..... and so on

Bottom view for Contour
Hello,
Can we get bottom view in addition to all the other views. Not sure why it was omitted. I find it useful to add supports looking from the bottom.

Re: Introducing the SolusCast resin
I must say that I am really impressed with the support peeling and how easy it looks. Plus getting that small supports allows you to get into the crevasses where it is needed. That being said I am looking forward to ordering a bottle to try it out as soon as my green runs out. Since B9 shipps out of...

Re: B9 Printing woos
Those supports at the bottom are not enough. You should use the Ring Support in contour instead. Also, add more supports to the place when it start to failed. you don't need supports to build straight vertical, and I am not trying to be mean or anything when I say it is definitely something other t...

Re: B9 Printing woos
Film tension was set from Solus themselves as I just switched to the aluminum VAT. There are no floating pieces in resin whatsoever since it was fresh resin. That support area on the bottom failed while going straight up..... I repeated the job with no changes except moving it on the platform and it...

B9 Printing woos
Heya Solus community, I was getting fails with prints similar to this http://reify-3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=829&p=6624&hilit=some+supports+not+growing#p6624 The picture I attached is two rings printed on the same platform with B9 Yellow. The VAT was filled with fresh resin out of...
