Re: How I can continuously print successful
The emerald I have been using is over a year old and I don't have any issues. I put the resin I filter in a different UV proof jar then just add new to it as needed. 9 out of ten times the failures are due to supports not in the right place, something in the design is not supported properly or the ...

Re: How I can continuously print successful
I've never had a problem growing B9 Emerald until recently. I feel like the age of the resin is the culprit. Whenever I had a failed print I used to filter back and pour the resin back into the same container as well which may have attributed to the loss in photosensitive properties. Now, I get resu...

Some stl editors provide support for thumbnail preview such as Magics, but that is more on the expensive side. Thanks for the tip monger!

The problem with a not leveled printer may be of concern with a tall print/low resin in tank, this may attribute to one side still having resin while another may not.

With emerald i have to do shrinkage of 1.20 (rhino gold) for the stones to fit
Yes, that is quite a bit. However does anyone know about B9 yellow shrinkage?

Re: I'm disapointed With Solus
To be frank I have experienced similar outcomes in I'd say the growing problem affects 1 in every 20 of my prints, but I am still happy with my solus. At one point I was printing 3 identical rings side by side knowing two might fail to grow. As I read the forums and educated myself I learned how to ...

Re: test print
I haven't used the solus proto since I got the machine. I heard that solus is in the works of making their own castable resin. I hope that it is capable of less than 20 micron layer heights.
It seems the prints come out very nicely with the proto resin. I love the design!
