Hello y'all and Happy Thanksgiving,
I would like to ask if its possible to not have contour black out my extended monitor when I am designing. Can we add an option if it isn't in there already?

Re: Crystal moving
If it is as you say then the fix should be simple. I usually keep the thumbscrews pretty loose, as soon as I feel resistance I stop. A telltale sign of over tightening is a clicking sound in the first 10-20 layers.

Re: Crystal moving
You said you strain the resin, Make sure the strainer is small enough. It could be floaters getting stuck to the film mid print. Empty the VAT and run the spatula along the film to make sure its nice and clear. I know these are rudimentary things but that is the first thing I would check myself. Goo...

Re: Crystal moving
Thinking out loud here.. Are you shaking the resin bottle prior to pouring? And do you stir resin sitting in the resin tank over a long period of time?
Over time the photo-sensitive particles settle down as they are heavier. So it could be the cause of mid print fails. Try it and let us know.

Re: Auto Supports and Manual Supports now in Contour!
Just updated Contour and I am pleased to see the supports added in. A couple of suggestions to implement that would surely make my life easier is having more than just two types of support. The B9C has something called spike support and that I absolutely can't make due without. Penetration percentag...
