Support Question
I love the new supports but sometimes I have files that I print flat on the plate that just need a few extra supports. The auto and manual supports lift my model up and now I've got a ton of supports. It would be great to be able add supports without the model being lifted up. The minimal model lift...

Re: wavy model
I did not use a ring support, I'll try again with proper support.
I had the same problem with this 10mm cube. I ran it flat on the platform without supports and thought maybe it was the lack of supports but looking closer it starts to warp on the bottom.
re-calibrate the build plate?

wavy model
Switched to Proto resin and started using automatic supports, which are amazing but sometimes my models turn out a little wavy towards the top or end of the print. Whats going on here?

Re: print failure
I ran them flat and they came out fine. I just replaced the screen and followed the instructions carefully so I don't think its too tight. The first model that came out was also crazy smooth, the grooves probably came from me tightening the vat screws a little too much. It didn't seem like a lot but...

Re: print failure
Re-calibrated the build plate following instructions in video very carefully. Now the other side didn't print and there's banding and missing pieces in the one that did. The screws on the vat were slightly tighter than I usually have them but still not very tight at all. I could print this model fla...

Re: print failure
If you're talking about the first two little supports I designed them with that awkward shape out of laziness, but maybe you're seeing it on the other supports as well? Either way I'll re-calibrate the build platform and try another run.

Re: print failure
http://i.imgur.com/2RFsOYt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dc7rDZz.jpg I'm having a similar problem. There usually isn't a problem if I print one model at a time, but when I try to print multiple items at once I get failures. I'm not sure if the first supports being larger would have helped but this happens...
