Re: Moving the build platform up
Failed. Its not the projector cord. If I unplug the USB from the back of the Solus and plug it back in I'm able to connect to the controller again.
I've got a new USB cable but I'm getting a random notification beep that a cord is being unplugged/plugged in while setting up the machine.

Re: Moving the build platform up
Print Failed. A device attached to the system is not functioning. changed USB ports. Running homing cycle but nothing is happening. Re: Moving the build platform up
software is updated, USB removed, little reset button pressed and software restarted. COM 4 does not exist.
The machine started printing without issue after the forth run through of the above procedure. Could it possibly be a short in a cord or a plug?

Re: Moving the build platform up
beta 1.0.6
I've got it running from a computer that I don't have configured to connect to the internet.
by little reset button you mean the on off button on the back of the machine? I've tried this multiple times, I've rebooted the computer. After about the 5th or 6th attempt it is now running.

Re: Moving the build platform up
yes. homing cycle. That worked, but now the problem is that "the specified port does not exist". this is the error that got the plate stuck at the bottom in the first place. This has been happening a lot lately.

Moving the build platform up
My build platform is stuck at the lowest position. I cannot remove it or the vat and cannot figure out how to raise it manually to run the calibration. I've clicked Manual Z +1 but it says I need to run calibration before printing.

Re: NEW SOLUS SOFTWARE?
I had no idea about the ClippingPlane command. thank you, it'll save a bunch of time trying to figure out if I've got everything supported correctly.

Re: machine on or off
Do you have to re-home the plate every time you turn the machine back on?

Thanks. That did the trick.
