Re: I can't connect to the controller!!
Thanks Mark and JewelerMDT!
I got it working in the end. Turns out updating the arduino driver to the latest version did the trick....
I had 1.69 then updated to 1.85 (or 86). But it may have just been a windows update that did it in the first place rather than an old driver.
Thankyou though!

Re: how I avoid fail print and lines (especially on b9emerald)
First off Thankyou GREATLY Weaver for taking the time to create this thread!!!!This is one of the best threads I've read. For example when my bulb was new I found that I needed much shorter than recommended exposure as the recommended numbers caused light bleed with over sized details and undersized...

Re: How to replace film in vat..
I was re watching the video and I have one big difference from within the video: Following it to a T, when I get to putting the VAT with the half tightened screws onto the quartz and need to do up the thumbscrews, it tells me to stop once I feel resistence, but I have resistence from as soon as the ...

How to reinstall 1.3
My Contour is locking up my computer whilst trying to make supports, and it's getting really annoying as it locks up so hard I have to do a hard reset. I want to try reinstalling it to see if that solves the issues but I have no install exe. The original was installed by the tech and then I upgraded...

Re: Need help BAD
I’m not an expert, but I can share some of my experiences. As soon as I get lines in my prints looking anything like that I’ll check and maybe change the film, and re-check that I’m not tightening the vat too much. Obviously, Monger has already said this, but its easy to overlook when you’ve got re...

Re: Need help BAD
Looks like it would be hard to focus the grid with that setup. Lettering in objects should not be more that .5mm .3 to .4 is best in my experience. Haha nah it's cozy but perfect. I can get complete access over the top and my little sun shield makes it nice and dark and clear to see the laser. The ...
