Wow, how old are your Quan's UV's , Mark. (or hours used I should say?). I run a pair of them all the time set up in a "A roof" stance with a white or mirror bottom plate. Is there a test you know of we can run on them to see what intensity we are at? Thanks for the post Mark..great point.

Like to know that also. I wonder if the big vent you have attached sucked gold away as it started to cool down. I looked at it pretty close and I believe I did have a good cast....may have been too thin of a wall at the area where I got the voids when I hollowed out the ring on CAD to save on gold....

Using B9....I cured under two Quans 20w wave length 395nm - 400nm 24+ hrs for sure....then boiled three times distilled water microwave 2 1/2 minutes each time as the cooled in-between. Then Lizard lamp 100w UV for 72 he's easy. I'm attaching pics to show our tree and venting. I blew out the flask b...

Cure Cure Cure !!!! I use QUANS 20W UV Ultra Violet LED Light (two of them) 24hrs then boil in distilled water 3 mins in microwave and let cool ...WE DO THIS THREE TIMES !!!! Then its over to the lizard lamp anywhere from 24-48 hrs. Just depends how dense the model is in structure. Plasti Cast 38/10...

I do not have that clear plastic shim that is clear to lay on the projection quartz. It is used as a shim between the quartz and the vat.....then you tighten up the screws. What can I use in place of this that might work just as good?

Great, Thank you for showing me this. I've been dumping out the resin and carefully as possible using the rounded nose tweezers to remove what bits and pieces were on the film that were stuck on. So do I leave the resin in the tank to do the projection of light or do I dump out some of it before doi...

Also you need to run a light exposure after your print is completed in order to remove what is still left on the film after , so you can drastically reduce the dimpling of your film ? how old is that film ? First film still from when I bought the machine from you.........How do I "run a light ...
