Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
I appreciate all the advice! Thank you! I sanded out most of the ugliness and repaired the pin holes. The rings are looking.....better. In the end, I believe it's the curing. I believe my curing station is not strong enough to penetrate the models I am printing on it's own. It's the 36w Salon whatam...

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
Yes, There is hole in the top of my oven for ventilation. My castings have been perfect with solidscape models for customers, so I know that I must be doing something right. I just want to be able to cast models from my solus. I have used the yellow and green....and I am so envious of those that can...

I actually did this too in the...

I think that Diaro is right that the letting is just too thin....I tried like hell to make it work but in the end there are limits. I am casting in green now, I notice that ...

Auto projector shut down
Greetings, Solus Nation! I am wondering if anyone else has been able to get the projector to shut down automatically? I have used the rs232 cable and checked all the right boxes but without success. Has anyone else had any success with this?

Re: Trouble in Casting Paradise
@rkundla - I believe you are absolutely correct. The resin is burning out no problem, but the little bits of investment that are breaking off and swimming around in the gold are causing the large craters in my cast. Another thing that I think it might be a problem is that the lettering in my charm i...
