Re: How do you approach this
Something like this without the hole under the diamond, Even at 90 degrees some resin can be trapped on the inside hollow area. I think I would add a drain hole to this one, however if it had designs on the side that would not work. I end up hand carving the printed resin model out the on underside ...

I download and tried out v1.3 today
Amazing! what time saver.
I would have never guessed I could print with with the supports generated from the automatic feature.
Worked great!

How do you approach this
Just wondering how any of you approach a signet style ring that has a design cut in on the top surface and hollowed out on the inside. The problem I run into is the resin gets trapped and gives an undesired surface. I have even tried cutting a drain hole when possible. Not sure if there is a better ...

Re: Consistent speed bump when replacing film
I have only replaced the film once, Not sure it really needed replacing at the time. I was having incomplete prints at the time so that was suggested, my main problem was more likely from a windows update that reset the full RGB My VAT did go on tight, I could barely get the screws to grab the threa...

Re: Auto Supports and Manual Supports now in Contour!
I have yet to download the beta version. I would like to but think I would need a mouse for better control. My problem is I only have two usb ports on the acer laptop which are being used by the printer and projector. Will it be okay at add a usb hub without causing problems? Thank you for you reply.

Re: Rings coming out Oval
For me the resin shrinkage is not a factor.
Somehow I was able to get it to print the proper size with emerald resin. it is the casting /metal shrinkage I look out for.
I built a small calibration model.
