Re: Mis prints
New film I installed. The print last week came out great. Today I tried to print a ring and failed. How long can you keep resin in the vat?? Not sure reason for fail. Stored my vat with resin in a ploy-bag with a piece of cardboard on top, in a drawer. Vat stuck to table like it had glue. Picked it ...

Re: Mis prints
I was so busy in December I hardly printed anything. Just did not have the time for fails so I milled everything. I did one print this week just to test some things. It came out great. One thing I figured out is that I was tightening down the Vat too much. It does not allow the tilt function to work...

Re: projector settings had changed...
I found Windows 10 would also change back settings. Took several times changing before they stuck. Also with 10, if you have updates turned off, which you should, it will turn itself back on. Probably not so much if you don't have your computer connected to the internet.

Re: Print sticking to film
You will need a spider web of support to print that band. So many floating part. I was doing a ring similar but had to cut on mill because of time constraints. One way I thought of was to oversize the ring to the inside and build a thin solid surface for the design to lay on. Grind/sand this away af...

Re: Anti-Aliasing doesn't work at 4
It will be interesting to see what happens with CW now that it's been bought. I believe it cost $495.00 now. Should be a lot better for the money, but I don't think they have improved it much from what I have read elsewhere. Also like to know from Mark and Emil what this might do to us for future up...

Double check you com port and usb port settings. I use Win 10. At first it was changing back my settings. Ports need to be always on. Make sure Idle setting are turned off for ports and power settings.

Re: Connecting issues/ non responsivness
I have had that also. It may be in the way things are turned on. First flip the printer on. Boot up computer. Turn on projector. My laptop came with 10. No way for me to go back to 8. Make sure in your control panel, device manager, that you check that your com port don't go idle, always on.

Re: when to replace film
If you use it to get failed prints off it can stretch the film in that spot if pressed to hard. Will cause a ripple like effect. Most of my fails stick real good to the film so I try and use Monger suggestion on getting it off. I am finding band with lettering like yours need to be oriented just rig...

Can I get another lens holder? I feel like I'm going to break it when changing lens.

Re: 42xy
It has been hit or miss for me also using the 42xy. Especially the band you printed. I tried one several times and had similar results. I believe the main problem was I had a very ruff texture on it. And even though I ran it through mesh fix tools, it had problem areas. Also had lettering inside of ...
