Should I increase or decrease the exposure. My current resin setting for emerald 25 micron layer thickness 25 layer exposure time 2.5 ini...

Re: Solus Contour Grid Adjustments
In the meantime, I would like to share my settings. Your lenses might be slightly different (they all have tiny variations), so feel free to make small adjustments. 1. The first thing you should do is to make sure your projector legs are closed all the way. 2. Project the grid and click the default...

Re: Fine tuning
I have has similar issues, things are not coming out square or even, close but not exact.
I had to enlarge my grid beyond the suggested size for parts to come out close to actual size. I needed to do this because circle in Z were oval not round.

Re: First raw castings off the Solus
To vacuum or not to vacuum? Best test I have found is if you put a bad or extra resin model out side of the flask. On the floor of the kiln works fine. After the burnout cycle Before casting take a look and see if you have any ash . For me I see ash with cherry not so much with emerald resin. I vacu...

Re: Too many fails
You can try to change it. go the resin profile settings, exposure, a new window opens, mine was set at 2.7 for 25 microns originally, I have tried 2.6 2.5 2.4 2.3 I am settling in at 2.5 for now with emerald resin. at 2.7 I would get partial prints as you showed. make sure you grid and focus are goo...

Re: Too many fails
I had that happen before I reduced the exposure time.
Have you tried reducing the exposure time?
Are you using the latest contour software?
