Film worn? flip it over.

Postby Wdshea » Mon May 16, 2016 11:58 pm

My film was scratched (i guess, looked pretty good), took out the film, cleaned 'er up real nice with alcohol, rinsed, alcohol again, rinse, air dry and re-install.

now it's printing just fine... i would've just replaced the film but i didn't have a back up.

I have polished a couple of films using a buff and watch crystal polish. Works great unless there are deep scratches.
Best to keep extra film on hand.

I have been stockpiling them every time I order anything I get a few. I have 5 or 6 sitting around. The way I see it is this way I will always have a spare for each material I am running.
