I would like to give my feedback on this curing unit.

Now any one can cure his resin 100% in about 10 minutes time . It is an extremely powerful UV curing light, the Wavelength 395nm to 405nm It operates in a narrow spectrum Ideal for resin curing.

You just have to build a wooden box for it and you are done with curing ones for all. No more failed casting or ashes do to bad curing. I work with cherry of Emerald resins though.

I would add some mirrors inside that box. Plus you might need some ventilation.

I honestly don't see any need to have mirrors, it is just powerful enough.

Wow that looks great I'll probably order one, I would also be adding some fans to the box, should be easy enough to wire up some computer fans do do the job.

Those LEDs are still relatively point light sources so in order to get complete coverage you need some method of bouncing the light around the enclosure to ensure full coverage.

Mirrors are inexpensive means of making that happen. A polished metal enclosure for the lamp assembly would work well, but probably be more expensive.

I think someone suggested a coffee can with the LED light strips wrapped around it would be a good and relatively inexpensive solution too. (example ebay link here)

Any source of UV will cure your resin, sun light will do the work too. However for an optimum curing you got to have a UV Wavelength 395nm to 405nm .

It is a narrow wavelength, with less heat creation. the best suited one for curing in a fairly short time. I used to leave my nail box on overnight to make sure not to have a failed casting.

Most curing unites on the market use this type of led's and it is tested and proven. It was just too expensive to use this type of LED's. Though now the prices went down drastically.

Gotta be careful with fast curing strong light sources. They might cure some areas of the print faster than others depending on position and distance to the light source. This can create warping and stress cracks on the surface or even through the print. It's recommended to put the prints on a revolving platform and keep them at a distance from the light source.

Fast curing is attractive, but sometimes you can't beat the low and slow approach. Same is true while doing good BBQ.

The only time I had such issues was when I cured my resin in the oven, and heat was the culprit.With this kind of LED's a little heat is created.

From Formlabs heat during curing process seems to been a good thing, not for all the resin?

I still feel like the slower cure seems to be the best. That is just my experience.
