could it be because not enought support?
i've print model with less support before. but it's printed just fine.
since latest SC update, my fail print increase, maybe it's just my luck. LOL

I would say to much tension in the film.

Indeed. this is a film issue. The most sensitive part when it comes to real fine tuning.

Could be a projector issue. Do you notice any flickering if you project the grid only? Do you have any machine close to the printer that can cause electronic interference?

Hi Guys

I just did dry run.
And i see the film tension is good.

Nope. No flickering.
No machine near my Solus.

The file is checked on magic and netfabb. All is good.
I am doing another print with thickness 1mm and more support.
Will post the result in after print.

so i make another print of the same model, but hollowed out with thickness 1mm.
add more supports
and here's the result

Image20170727_191046 by dennys -, on Flickr

noticing the thick lines midprint, i decided to stop the print rather than waste more resin on fail print.

then i decided to recalibrate everything...
film tension
projector setup for 8cmx4,5cm
build platform
projector grid
scale adjustment
etc...

then recheck the file on netfabb.

and here's the print result
Image20170727_193408 by dennys -, on Flickr

much better than previous prints, but still 2 thick lines appear and 1 thinner line above those 2.
well, a bit of sanding will make this print looking better and i can use this print.

but still pretty curious what could cause this thick lines?

i will print the trident look alike model later, we'll see if there's any difference

When was the last time you lubricated all of the guide rods and such?

When it is periodic like that, you start to think it has something to do with the screw wobbling or sticking to the guide rods like an alignment issue.
