Hi,
Can you please check the 4 screws at the bottom of the round shafts are tight? We didn't use locking nuts on the earliest printers so there's a chance they have come loose.

yes, i checked all the screws. they all tight.
i tried to pull back the build arm to straighten it, and i can clearly see the plate underneath becomes flatter. but the moment i release the build arm, i can see the plate also flex back to it's concave shape.
maybe this image can show better the plate concave
at the right side of the quartz from this image, you can see the plate is not flat against the black panel, and on the left side of the quartz also shows the same

compare it to all previous test cube. This is the best Cube. LOL
Thanks God i follow Mark suggestion to also upgrade my old tilt motor.
the result is awesome!
for all of you that use old version Solus, upgrading the tilt motor is really a game changer.
My Solus even becomes quieter than before.

Re: Build arm tilting
Is that a new version of the quartz?
Re: Build arm tilting
did you ever diagnosis what was wrong with the old parts?

yep. the quartz is very strong and stable.

the old parts.
first, the entire plate under the rod is concave, so my print is not straight. probably due to excessive use or could be because something else. not sure why.
second, the old tilt motor is not as good as the new one, totally different spec. new motor has smoother movement and quieter. to be honest. the old motor is ugly. LOL
