And you are positive you put a "check" in the "automatic shutdown" option each time you start a print?

double check that you plugged in the rs232 cable to the back of the projector also, and the usb end to the computer. My first four prints wouldn't shut down or turn on the projector automatically and that was my problem, I only had HDMI plugged in.

If you aren't having a driver or an issue with the cable or adapter. In Solus Contour under Edit -> Preferences, there is an option to bypass the "Disable projector power controls". If that is checked, it seems then projector wouldn't automatically power off.

I just started having the same issue. Projector does not shut down automatically any more.

Is there a fix out there or do you have to contact someone?

Hi,

Please update your serial cable driver in the project manager. If that doesn't work, then try the second download listed on this page:

I just installed a new powered USB hub to solve some power issues now my projector does not shut down at the end of the job. Is this still the recommended fix ?

if so how do you use it?

I downloaded it and it is a zipped folder, I know how to unzip it but what do I do with it?

Sorry for being a noob but I am a jeweler not the IT guy
