slightly skewd prints

Postby Devlin » Tue Jul 31, 2018 9:23 pm

Once in a while I get a completed print that is skewed to one side.
I often reprint in a new position or with more supports. And it may solve the problem.

The skew is usually in the side view on not in the through the finger hole view.

I just did one signet style were the top should be round and it is slight oval in the top down view.

I have been printing in 25xy 25z emerald resin. the prints in general have been amazing!

The bottle of resin is at the end And I am starting a new bottle soon.

I am looking for suggestions to solve the issue.

Thank you

Post a photo of the print and also of the scene.

Here are some images of some failed prints, In general do not save the scene on every print.

I will next time to see if it happens.
I usually print looking through the finger hole view, I do have this happen more in the other direction, not sure why that is.

thank you!

I’ve only seen this being caused by overstretched film. The solution was to replace the film.
