trouble with scale adjustment

Postby Kevin » Tue Oct 30, 2018 5:06 pm

I'm trying to print a ring that is 17.5mm tall on the inside but is coming out 16.4mm. When I enter those numbers into the scale adjustment I now get a ring that is coming out 17.9mm. When I enter those numbers it goes back to the 16.4mm size. It just keeps going on like this.

I have reloaded the scene or restarted the software after each adjustment. Any ideas?

Ya, so when you enter them once, the software adjusts to compensate. If you enter the new number, it will compensate again. So instead of doing that, enter 16.6 or 16.7 for the Actual Scale Z, so there is less compensation, and 17.5 for the Original Scale Z.

ok, I can work with that. Is there a way to wipe the adjustments memory and start over fresh?
