Drop in intensity on infocus projector

Hello all,
Been having problems printing. I've an Infocus 8606HD projector and I've changed the lamp for an original infocus one, I've changed the film on the resin tank, I've changed the tilt motor in the printer, I've gone through the different exposure settings and still my prints are failing. Mark and Jordi have been excellent in trying to help me but I'm losing the will to live now as I use the printer everyday. Jordi thinks there's been a drop in intensity on the projector so Mark suggested changing it from eco mode to normal mode. I have heard replacement lamps aren't quite as strong as the ones the projector was shipped with but I don't know. I just wondered if anybody else has had changed everything as I have and still had printing problems??

Try increasing the exposure time.

We've had a few reports that the replacement infocus bulbs might be slightly weaker than the original ones.

Yes Only had one successful print. At first I thought is was not bright enough. Changed setting to 60. Still not getting prints. There is always a square of light that is too bright at first. Don't know how to adjust that. It does dim when the platform get down. Going to play with settings.

I am start thinking that not only the bulb is the issue. May be there are some degradation of DMD chip after period of time?

One of my setups is using an Infocus 8606 from day one. More than 4 years of non-stop, almost daily printing.

No degradation. Only had to replace the bulb. That's it.

If you had degradation, it would look like dark, or bright spots, and lots of dots all over.

Hope I finally got mine printing. Had to keep adjusting the brightness in projector settings. Three good prints. Last one today one fell off build plate 3/4 way through.

Just a quick update, I had to purchase a new projector and as the infocus isn't made anymore, I went for a Vivetek 1188. still couldn't get this to print either, even after setting the projector up with the correct settings, so after pulling all my hair out, I tried, on Jordi's advice, to print with the same settings on the larger print area and...Bingo...I'm back in business. Mark seems to think the lamp was too bright to print at the smaller area.

Could be too bright. You just have to play with the brightness setting in the projector settings. That's what I did. Lots of trial and error but now printing great.

A lot depends on bulb age- hours of use. I had just put in a new bulb. My setting in the projector menu I believe is at 50 or 55%. If you have a lot of hours on the bulb, you might need 60% to 65%. It's a trial and error thing.

Course other things could be culprit , like film tension, dents in it, resin on lens or front glass of printer.
