My first print

Postby skulptor_geist » Mon Dec 09, 2019 5:46 pm

Here's the first print of my sculpt of Spock. Not sure what is causing the lattice to print like that... I have double checked all of my settings. Also, this is a used Solus I purchased, but seems to be otherwise fine. Any thoughts on what is going on?

Maybe some over exposure of the base layers.

Can you check the slices and see if it also is in the slices. Then it is something else causing this. Or the projector emitted full white before starting the print.

Spock looks very nice. So I wouldnt worry about the lattice being weird.

With the grey resin the base is overexposed to help with adhesion. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for all the responses. yes, the Spock print looks great! I wont worry about the lattice then. I was worried that there was something just around the corner awaiting my next attempt and resulting in an epic fail...Haha. Always glad to find out a fear is unwarranted! Really love this little printer with hugely good results! :D
