Dear friends,

Can you help me, what can cause this issue on the print?

Clear foil is new, resin is newly filled up, resin filtered.

Thank a lot!

Cheers,

Robert

Did you clean out the vat real good? Could be from small flake of resin blocking light or attached to print.
That's a tall print. would be best tilted and have good supports

Yes, I cleaned well everything.
I can see the same issue on small items, too regularly, not just on tall prints.

I feel the resin not hardened well. If I touch it, I feel the surface like rubber a bit.
All settings of the projector is correct.

Is that possible content of resin changed since last years batch of production?

If there is sunlight shining on your resinVat it might also cause small pieces to harden. A bit like cooking milk to long and a thin film will appear.

filter your resin when pouring back in to your bottle. And filter your resin when pouring in to the vat.

Also I sometimes get small flakes of resin on my prints after cleaning. It is from uncured resin that gets not removed good enough and is still swimming in the alcohol and then it can attach to your model. When you are cleaning it.

Never put resin from the vat back into the original bottle. Use a separate bottle. How old is bulb. Try increasing the exposure.
How old is the resin. I just open a bottle of solus wax. Didn't realize I had it a year. Would not print at all.

Thanks for the responses!

The sun can not get into the printer, I made a paper prototype of a kind of shader what I will cut later from orange plexiglass by laser.
I used to filter the resin when I take out from the vat to a glass bottle, and filter again when I put it back (2x every time).
And I used to take out small flakes carefully with a non sharp tweezer or the mixing spatula.

I never put back the used resin to the original bottle, I have a glass bottle for that reason.
The bulb went 2700 houres . The default setting for the light intensity is on max.
The resin is from last october, 1/10 of the quantity used. (Well shaked before usage, and mixed well also with a wooden (non metallic) stick.)

Bes regards, Robert
