Dear Reify and Solus community.
We have Solus DLP 3D printer with Vivitec H1186 projector.
We are now setting up the printer to work.
We followed the manual, installed all the drivers, in Intel panel enabled full RGB mode, disabled YCbCr regime, set up all the projector parameters, calibrated everything.
We tried to connect the projector to a PC both via HDMI and VGA cable.
In Solus Contour we have set a black mode.
However, after placing the vat with a photoresist, after a couple of minutes, we still see the formation of the cured photoresist film, we did not expose anything.





During test print with another photoresist, we still have a similar issue.


What might cause such behavior?

Make sure no sunlight or Uv light shines on the resin.

Disable windows screensaver.

Thanks for the reply! The printer has been set in the cleanroom with Na lamps (yellow light) and no windows.
During the print, the lights were off.
The problem is in the background exposure of the projector when the resin in vat and Solus is in Black Projection.
Also, the taskbar is off, the screensaver is off, and the desktop is black.

PS. I was thinking about some sort of shutter which motor is operated by e.g. arduino or being connected to souls for somehow and it have to have synchronization with layers exposure: the shutter opens during the exposition and closes in between.

First question: Have you ever had success with this printer and resin before? If so, then something has changed, either in your resin (chemical concentrations are messed up) or in your configuration (lost proper config, etc...)

If you have never had success, then you need to adjust the projector parameters since it appears that your resin is highly reactive. Try dialing back the brightness and upping contrast to make the background light level closer to black.
