Nvidia settings

I downloaded the latest drivers, switched the Dynamic Range to full but there are 2 other options not mentioned in the setup instructions, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement and Color Enhancement. I'm assuming I should uncheck those but just wanted to make sure.

Only make the changes that are shown in the instructions.

For the Nvidia cards, the setting is under DISPLAY - Change Resolution. Then you should see it on the bottom on the left hand side. If it's not there, then you need to update to the latest drivers and restart the computer.

I was changing the resolution under VIDEO, I'll go back and change those back. Under display I don't have those options and have just loaded the latest drivers. I'm using a VGA cord. Is this why the setting isn't available?

Is there a downside to using a VGA cord? Will an HDMI cord give me sharper prints?

Vga cord? No. You need to use HDMI. Does your video card have an HDMI port?

We are no longer including a VGA cable and I don't think your machine included one either.

The other cable, is an R232. It's for automatic projector shutdown.

So I was taking a little shortcut by using a cord that was already plugged into the computer. HDMI cable now installed, but unfortunately I still don't have the option to change the dynamic range under DISPLAY. The only place I can find an option to change the dynamic range is in an advanced tab under VIDEO. I've got an Nvidia GeForce 310.

Did you download and install the new nvidia drivers? Restart your pc after you do.

If the option still doesn't show up, contact me and I can connect to your pc and help info@junction3d.com
