Warped/stretched prints

Postby imccad » Thu Feb 18, 2016 4:57 pm

Hello- We just set up our Solus and are trying out some test prints. The rings we tried first were very stretched, so we double checked the grid using the two approaches mentioned on the forum, and calibrated the build plate to the quartz.

Then, we built test blocks, and again they printed very warped/stretched. I'm including images that I think will be helpful. Any thoughts on where to go next?

Thanks!

Hi,

Looks like you have the wrong aspect ratio/resolution for the projector in your display control panel or you selected the wrong display on your machine config page.

OK, we checked the display control panel and the display in the machine config, and they both are as suggested in the manual. I did notice that the default numbers in the Output Config do not match the other numbers. Does this look correct? If not, how do change them? They're currently grayed out so I can't select them.

You should only have one configured display... please erase one, apply changes and reconnect. If the projector is on you should remove the vat or put the shutter in front before you click apply changes.

You will also have distorted prints if you have the wrong close up lens on. Guess how I know.
