I've had this issue before and somehow it stopped. Now it happens every single build.
Tried everything to no avail:
1. Dumped the software and unzipped a fresh version with stock profiles
2. New film.
3. Disabled windows update and UAC (even though it's not plugged in to ethernet)
Has anybody else had this happen?
I feel like this is a hardware issue at this point. Either my projector does something strange every so often or the printer itself has an issue.
I'm using an Optoma HD37.

Any ideas or feedback would be awesome! Thank You!!

We have seen this before. It turned out to be electrical interference from a heater. Do you have any equipment like that close to the printer that goes off and on periodically?

Re: Thick sections, every 5mm
I might have found a solution to this issue.
Disabled the serial cable power off feature
I left this connected and enabled with it's respective COM port mapped and it still never worked for some reason. Yesterday I decided to disable it.
Eco mode to Bright mode
The projector has been in 'eco' mode the whole time so I flipped it over to 'bright' so that the lamp burns bright with the fans wide open at all times. I know this might shorten the lifespan of the lamp but if it produces parts then I'll just buy lamps every 6 months. Haha!
Dynamic Black
I disabled this and my last parts looked fine.
Like any good experiment I want to wittle it down to exactly what the issue is. So this AM I put the lamp back in 'eco' mode and enabled Dynamic Black again.
So far my guess is that the serial cable auto-off feature does not work with the Optoma HD37.

Unfortunately no. In fact, yesterday I moved the entire rig to a seperate room with a seperate power source. The printer, projector, and PC are all plugged in to an APC 750 UPS so the energy coming in should be pretty clean.

There is also another ECO mode in there. Power Mode (Active, ECO). This is should stay on Active. You didn't accidentally put that one on ECO instead of the lamp right?

Umm....I may have accidentally put Power Mode to ECO. I'm doing another test build so I might cancel it so I can check the settings again.
Too many "eco mode" options.
Thanks for the feedback!!!
