Projector changes distortion

Postby Chrisno » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:12 pm

I managed to find out the correct settings to put my grid straight, but unfortunately the distortion changes. So I have to find new settings each time I start to print. This is bad enough, but it seems the distortion changes even during the print job which causes curvy vertical lines. Has anyone ever had this problem? I do not find any posts concerning this topic. Is this issue caused by the computer or by the Beamer(vivitec)
Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

I haven't seen this bug. Which version of Contour are you running? Which version of Windows?

Update to the latest version, then go to edit/preferences, choose your projector, press ok. That should fix the issue and save the settings.

when you change the values and exit the software. When you go back, did the values change to something else?

email me at info@junction3d.com and I can connect to your pc remotely and see if I can fix this for you.

If that's the case, then it could be computer graphics card related. Are you using an HDMI cable or VGA?
