Which resin did you use in this tank?

We recommend using the aluminum resin tank for Solus proto. It can damage the acrylic tank unless you clean it after printing at the end of the day.

That is your acrylic dissolving. Some resin is quite tough on the acrylic. Do not let the resin sit overnight to help prevent this from getting worse over time.

Good thing i read this before it destroyed my vat. I started seeing lines on the acrylic as well as the same sticky stuff after just one week usng the protosolus and not leaving resin in it overnight.

I'm sure that's good advice
However I have an acrylic vat that has had Proto in it continuously for 12 months without dire consequences (yet).
It doesn't look pretty, and I'm sure it is not best practice, but I'm still getting great prints.
In practical terms, unless you remove your film, you are going to have resin present around your seals anyway, so the only complete solution would be the aluminium vat suggested by Monger.
Lawrence.

On the solus proto page on our website, we do mention that you need the aluminum resin tank if you plan on leaving it in there.
If you want to use the acrylic you can, but you would need to empty the tank at the end of the day, and use PEC pads to soak up all the resin from all the inside corners and edges. But then again, the aluminum resin tank is just maintenance free.
