Airplane mode, wireless mouse, power strip

Postby coolmoon » Mon Apr 18, 2016 1:59 am

Hello everyone,

A quick question, is airplane mode efficient enough to turn everything that's not needed off or should I just manually turn off the Wi-Fi. Plus is it too risky to have a wireless mouse connected to your laptop and also to have all your power plugs into a single power strip. I'm trying to avoid any power hiccups or fluctuations that can shut down the CW process.

Thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I use airplane mode. It's simpler.

I keep my both computers, printers, and projectors plugged into a backup power supply. Not so much to keep them printing if the power goes out for a long time but if if the power surges or goes out for a second or two the print will not be lost. If the power goes out I then have a chance to turn everything off before something crashes. I have never used airplane mode as both my laptops are dedicated to the printers.
